- TEACHING WILL ALWAYS BE MY PASSION. I HAD THE PLEASURE OF TEACHING SCHOOL FOR 28 GREAT YEARS IN THE DENVER PUBLIC SCHOOLS. I SUBSTITUTE TEACHER IN DENVER SEVERAL TIMES A MONTH AND AM A MENTOR TO 11 STUDENTS THAT SHARE THAT PASSION. I LIVE WITH MY ELDERLY FATHER, YOGI, AND BUDDAH.

- OH MY ... THANK YOU FOR ASKING. LET'S TALK ABOUT BUDDAH. BUDDAH HAS BEEN A BLESSING TO OUR FAMILY. HE RESCUED US 8 MONTHS AGO AND HAS BLENDED BEAUTIFULLY. HE HAS THE CLASSIC PUG FEATURES WITH A VERY LONG TONGUE AND A GREAT TILT WHEN YOU ASK HIM A QUESTION.
YOGI IS A DREAM. HE IS A CERTIFIED ADVANCED THERAPY DOG IN COLORADO. HE VISITS MANY PATIENTS AT SAINT JOE'S HOSPITAL EVERY WEEK. BOTH OF MY POOCHES LOVE THE OUTDOORS. BUDDAH HAS TAKEN SWIMMING LESSONS AND IS EAGER TO SWIM THIS SUMMER. YOGI HAS BEEN PLAYING FLYBALL FOR A FEW YEARS AND ALSO LOVES THE OUTDOORS.

Brent Thompson said… - You have the cutest two kids. Love em both. Malia (the mother) has learned to catch her toy to keep it away from Jeb (the son). By doing so she has taught him to catch also, first two pugs I've ever had that will do that. Walker (the father) is much older than Malia and of course Jeb, he perfers to sit upon his throne, the love seat, and watch the hyjinks of the other two. He does join in on occasion, Malia loves the water, has not swam yet and this summer will be the first time for Jeb, that should be interesting. Walker, well Walker is Walker. Thank you for the friendship, it's off to Bible study for me now.

- That's super about the Therapy part all three of mine are Therapy dogs, we go to the local VA hospital on a regular basis, the kids are quite a hit there. Welcome to Pugslife!

- Hi Laine, I love that Yogi is a therapy dog, that is so wonderful. I have often told my friends that my pug brings me such joy that I would love to share her with others in need to put a smile on their faces. I guess you could say in a way that she is my therapy!
