"Adorable! When I first got my pug, my vet said "you're going to love this dog...you can dress them up!" I didn't know it then, but over the years, I've learned just what he meant. This breed was meant to be dressed up. They…"
That is no fun! I have a small propane heater along with an older but still quite good Kohler generator that gets me thru the worst of it when it happens over here. Been lucky, lately they have only lasted a few hours. Got the generator when we lost power for a week, no fun and of course winter time. I feel for you. On that week long one would have used the travel trailer except a gigantic cotton wood fell on it. Hope you get yours back soon.
Hi Brittany, Sasha has been thought a lot in her 3 years, unfortunately she had some major issues again last week, she gave us quite a scare last Saturday morning, we woke to find a bump on her head and her mouth and the wrinkle all the way around her nose completely swollen. We brought her to the vet hospital and they treated her for an allergy and sent her home. Around 1 am Monday morning she was having so much trouble breathing that she woke both if us, again we rushed her to the hospital and she was admitted & put on oxygen. They called us around 8:30 am the that morning and told us Sasha was breathing fine and she was ready to go home. My fiance went to pick her up, they told him she was doing really well and if we had any problems to give them a call or bring her back. He paid the bill and left, when he put Sasha in the truck he noticed her hair was standing on end, looking closer at it he realized that she was covered in hives & blisters, so he brought he back in. They couldn't believe that no one noticed the hives or blister on her and that they were gonna send her home. Needless to say, my fiance was very upset and he let them know it, after spending $600, she was leaving in worse condition than when we brought her in. So again they kept her and gave her a dose of steroids and finally after a few hours it started to work, but the kept her there for observation til 5pm, then they sent her home on medication for three day. So far she is doing very good, but the scary thing is we don't know what caused such a severe allergic reaction. I We hope and pray that all her health problems are behind her and she lives a long, healthy & happy life!!
