Betsy....why is it that we have never said hello to one another? Good morning, I have thought in the past about agility with some of my now passed pugs, never did get around to it, I just did confirmation show. Must admit did pretty good myself, what am I saying, I didn't do anything, my boys did good! Shame on me.
It's very cool that your pug loves agility. I did agility (for fun) for 9 years with my black lab Talladega, but have retired him since he now has arthritis. I tried Tojo out on agility and he was very good; off leash in the beginner class!! However, he would get to an obstacle, such as the dog walk or the A-frame, during a routine and just stop...'sorry mom, I don't want to do this one'. We decided that he is not an agility dog after a few of those episodes. I really enjoyed doing it and good for you that you enjoy it too.
