Hi Angela and Mookey haven't heard from you in a while. How has Mookey been? You had asked about getting them to swim on one of my videos. Thought I'd answer here in case you might not see it on the video. With each one I first put them on the steps of the pool and see if they like the water. Most itme they will act unsure so thats not really a good way to tell. But it gets them used to it. Then I will carry them out into the water with me holding them. After a bit of that really all you can do is let them go and see what happens. They may go under but their natural instinct is to dog paddle and they will surface quickly. Then I pick them up and make them feel secure. I want them to know they can trust me and I won't let anything bad happen to them. It just a gradual thing, you can tell pretty quick if they are a natural swimmer or just a survival swimmer. Puga is a suvival swimmer she will not go in on her own except in the baby pool where her feet can touch. It took a little time for Pixie to get to the point she is now. But I could tell real soon that she just really liked to swim. So then I just started working on adding things like learning how to get out of the pool in case of an accident. She's a lot of fun, we can't keep her out of the pool now....lol Hugs & Kisses to Mookey
Hi Angela, how's Mookey? If she doesn't sound like what your used to I'd take her to the vet to be safe. Pugs are prone to upper respiritory infections. You ask how to post from Face in Hole. Here's what cha do. After you create your masterpiece and click the save button. Scroll down and look at your fabulous creation. Then right click and save to your my pictures in your computer. Then it is there and you can go to Pugslife and post just as you would any other picture. Good luck, let me know if you have any more questions.
