Hehe...Alfie's worst enemy is the hose! He always barks and chases after the spray. It's amusing watching him when we turn it onto mist-he has no idea what to do!

Lucky old Spudz, got Hektor to the edge of the pond this morning and I managed to get his feet in, he is not a water baby. We also give him ice cubes but he much prefers them into his drinking water now. I did think about a scarf for him but he likes to run about naked, if you know what I mean, so he got showered with the hose this morning.

I live beside the sea Spudz loves to splash about to keep cool, we were in the sea tonight splashing about.

Have you tried those cooling scarves? They might be a good idea. Also, I give Alfie ice cubes, he loves to chew them.

Absolutely NOT Pug weather, trouble is I am having one really bad time trying to tell Hektor that he has only to have short walks. This morning a very insistent dog wanted his longer walk, so we went up the hill and into the woods, it wasn't any cooler there and after stuffing him with water I had to get him back down to the road and home. One of our walking friends suggested I carry him, as if.

Anyone going to the Pug meet up at Preston Park, Brighton if you are we will see you there. We are looking forward to it. Its only once a month so its great to see all our Puggie friends. we have such a fun time....will post some pics next week.

Teddy has been loving it in the garden. We put a paddling pool out for him which he enjoyed running through!

Aww, poor Angus! Alfie loves it in summer because he has his back garden to roam ALL day. He lays in his favourite sunny spots then moves to a shaded place (usually the one closest to wherever we are).

Hi Pug Princess, we had the fan on again for Hektor and I put ice in his water dish. I don't know about Alfie, but Hektor likes a bit of sunbathing but when he gets too hot he gets in to shade. Thank goodness for that as Angus got sunstroke twice in his life and that demanded cold showers usually with me.
