Tia was a very bad girl yesterday.  While I was at the gym she climbed up on the kitchen table and took the entire jar of dog treats to the floor.  Somehow the lid must have come off and it rolled around landing in the living room.  The jar was licked clean inside and out when I came home.  There was half a jar of treats but surely Tia ate most of them because her belly was really bulging out.  Those were their Christmas treats - devoured in one bad act!

Well, Rashmi... Funny you should ask.  Izzy has been much better lately until today.  She is now being punished for thinking the sofa next to my desk is a place to pee!  (Luckily it is almost always covered -- as it was today.)  What's Tin Tin found amusing lately?

Yep, either the others have fallen asleep or their pugs have been "reformed" :-) The latest Tin Tin does is try and get to the table in our bed room where the desktop is kept. Dont get me wrong, he's neither a geek nor net savvy. My hubby often has his evening tea and biscuits sitting at that table and Tin tin thinks some crumbs may be left on the table. Plus the added attraction of paper, pens, odd stuff that he can have a ball with :-) He truly is something else.

Oh... so glad he didn't get into the sugar-free stuff, as it's sometimes poisonous to dogs!  Hey Rashmi... I think the two of us are the only ones using this site!  You were the only one who responded to Izzy's letter -- and it's been just the two of us since then.  Are we the only ones with destructive pugs?  Did all the other pugs stop misbehaving when they saw their parents sign them up?  Maybe they shuttered at the thought of having their antics listed and photographed online?  Anyway, glad to hear from you -- and that Tin Tin is all right.  I can imagine that the cleanup wasn't fun.  XO

The latest on Tin Tin's list of destruction is my calorie-free sugar substitute. A brand new breakable container, well and truly broken. And thrown away, as minute glass pieces would have mixed with the powder. To be fair to him, he did not mean it; the door to a cupboard where I had kept this container was open and Tin Tin wanted to pull out something else, when this thing fell with a thud and broke.

That's so darling... I want my two to get to the point where they can both sleep TOGETHER in my bed, too.  Right now, since Max as here first, it's his bed, which Izzy gets to sleep in occasionally.

It's true, Rusty also somehow used to think that the bed was for peeing, and I used to get sick of washing it again and again. Anyway, now there's no bed, no worries either :-). Rusty prefers the floor, its usually cool and that's his approach to beating the Indian summers, and Tin Tin, born in the lap of luxury (as all pugs are), prefers my bed, with a snuggle right next to my head and neck or thighs or at my feet. The other day, he even slept with his head on my pillow :-)

Oh, that is so funny that Rusty didn't want his bed until Tin Tin arrived and wanted it -- and then chose to destroy it.  Izzy had a few great beds, but refused to use them for anything other than peeing. I got tired of double washing them, so they now sit unused in the garage.   Thereafter, I started buying sleeping mats instead.  But, they have stuffing, too.  I thought I had it under control until Izzy started attacking Max's bed's too.  I think it's great that your two are such good friends.  Still not quite there with Iz and her brother.  Soon, I hope.  I see Izzy calming down a bit now that she is almost 14 months old.  So, there's hope...

That was a very nice note of apology. You know, when Rusty was a baby, we had bought him a nice bed and he avoided it at all cost. So, when Tin Tin came, we thought he could use it. But Rusty got so upset, he actually tore it so that no one could use it. They used to behave just like two competing siblings :-) Now of course, Rusty's lab side has come out a lot and he is the magnaminous one. And Tin Tin loves Rusty so much that he also shares. But other than that, Tin Tin is all set to destroy things he fancies and even tries to enlist Rusty in the act. Except Rusty is too indifferent and lazy to bother joining Tin Tin.
