Well now that I have your rapt attention.  Let me tell you my story.  First let me start with I remember our friend Brent telling me one time about a show dog of his that dearly loved his shower lady.  Sorry I have no idea the proper title.  Anyhow this dog so loved this lady that it peed on her to show it's undying love and devotion.  So begins my story with that in mind.  Bonnie one of my Bostons, who I believe after this should be named as an unofficial member of the Bad Boy/Girls Club.  She dearly loves us both but evidently if this theory is true she loves my husband James more.  Last night husband/James was lying in bed resting his hurt back ( a whole nother story)  When Bonnie jumps up and runs to the head of the bed next to him and proceeds to pee.  She has never done anything like that before.  James was agast and let out a few unkind words to say the least.  I am in the other room and am like what the heck is going on!!  He says Bonnie just Peed On Me!!!  Of course I was more worried about the bed than him as any good wife would be....hehehehhe  When I told him about it being a sign of undying love he did not quite see it that way.  Poor Bonnie spent the rest of the eveing sulking and feeling extremely rejected.  As us Southerners say "Bless Her Heart"

Well Terri it is either undying love for James, or she had to pee really bad, and James was the first one she desided to tell her problem to. I know one night we were sitting in the living room and Linus came walking in and stood in front of us and just peed. He hadn't been out for awhile we realized, and he was just saying hey if you are not going to let me out, I will just do it hear. He never did it again, and he better not do it again if he knows what is good for him. LOL
Hi Terri, please give James my best regards!
Thank you both so much for your many words of wisdom...LOL...LOL
I will send James your regards Brent.
Ok now i don't feel so bad... Tank has never had an accident in the house, but one night jim went to bed and his side of the bed was wet.. culprit..Tank. Well I thought maybe he was coming down with an infection or he was mad at us.. ya know all of the ways to make an excuse. Well then come the morning we had both dogs in the bedroom and Buddy was lying on the bed in my spot, as I was making breakfast. Jim still lying in bed , well Tank got up on the bed and walked over andpeed on jim's back. I heard the same kind of not so nice words... I just figured Tank was letting Buddy know that Dad belonged to him. Well jim was not so happy to be granted such a dubious honor from Tank. Honestly I was not happy ,but had to run into the other room and laugh... as I am now.... Poor Jim.. So see tank is definitely a member of the BB/BG club
Teri I can't wait to tell my James that he is not the only one to be christened by a besotted pet.....LOL
Well you would all be waiting to hear if Hektor has done this, yes, though not in bed. There is something about my Husband's legs that draw dogs to him, whether they think he is a lamp post I have no idea, but both my 'H''s have peed on him. Henry on two dark evenings when he was a puppy and Hektor also one dark night. We both thought this was quite humorous, except my Hubby is very fond of his shoes and was not over pleased about the urine. The only times any have peed on my bed was before they were properly housetrained and had not been out for the first pee.
So poor Jim and poor James, but your dogs were merely marking you as theirs.
Little G did this same thing to me within the first month I had him. I was laying on the floor playing with him and he jumped on my back like always before he jumped off at my hands. However, this time he didn't jump and let out an amazing amount really. I couldnt have him outside at the time him being only 8.5 weeks old and all. Needless to say I didn't see the love in it either...
Haha thats happened with my mum before. During a dog show peawee decided to pee against her leg a few times. Milo has done it many times to her leg also. Its something about her.. He has tried to pee on me when he met a female pug but im always quick to notice and i move my foot. We also had a male guest come over, he was standing in the livingroom and milo decided his leg would make a good pee post!
