Well Mr Tank has all of a sudden gone into his terrible 2's. he has never really been distructive but that is starting to change... hopefully it is only a phase, at least I hope. The other night we went to dinner and left the dogs as normal and when we returned he had taken jim's ballcap and chewed the strap on the back orf it. Then today he went out into the kitchen and picked up one of my shoes and carried it to the living room right in front of me and started to chew on it. He even grabbed a bra and started swinging it around like one of his toys.... I think he has lost his mind!!lolol  Never been this naughty before.... so as I say the terrible 2's are upon us... heaven help me...lolol

All three of those acts are done in my house on a regular basis. Particularly the bra! We'll just leave it at mine are bigger than the pug herself and she LOVES to swing em around viciously slapping anything near her and when she finally gets tired she sits down and tries to chew the wire out! Plus its the only item "drop it" doesn't work on so it leaves me no choice but to chase her yelling "give it back, that's mommas!"

My pug turned 2 in october. The shoe chewer is 5.
hehe, but I shouldn't laugh as mine just turned two end of August and I hope I'm not in for the terrible twos - probably am cos I laughed at the bra flinging description, sounds like it is some sort of contest in some part of the world:)
Apart from having a right good laugh at Tank's antics I never really thought that dogs had terrible two's, in fact both of my previous Pugs were absolute saints by the time they reached two. Often people asked me when did Pugs quieten down and I would say confidently "Oh around two". That was before Hektor, almost to the day he reached two he got into trouble. He decided that he wasn't putting up with big dogs telling him what to do or trying to dominate him so he went for them. It got so bad that I spoke to my Vet about a behaviourist. He was also going for other dogs for what I perceived as nothing. Then one day I looked into his ears and they were bright red, so I treated them and he got a bit better with other dogs, but I noticed that since he hit two he still will not be stood over by larger dogs, he still tells them off. I would rather he pinched my shoes as they do not fight back. All I can say is all the big dogs must go in a huddle and laugh when they see him coming.

Mine are 8,5 and 11 months. The puppy has been great hardly ever getting into anything..until i started fostering a 7 week old Chiw-Pug mix,now all of a sudden they are both tearing my house apart! This morning it was the phone, then my chair cushion and half its stuffing, books, and my sons retainer!Im at my witts end, lol. It looks like a war zone all day, worse than picking up after toddlers..:)I think they all go through this at different ages.
