Here is my tribute to Lily.  This is the face that I see every time I look at a senior pug.  This is the face I miss each and every day.  This is the face of one sweet sweet angel.  Lily mommy thinks of you often with great sadness that our time together could not have been longer.  I miss you baby girl more than you will ever know.  Tell Lulu I miss her too.  Lulu sorry mommy doesn't have many pictures of you, wish I had been taking pictures when you were with us, but that wasn't the case. :-(

Julie, I just love this version of the Rainbow Bridge!  I copied it for my computer, too.  We just got back from a camping trip and met another couple with a puggy.  They had just lost their senior and we talked about this poem.  Oh, how our seniors touch our lives.  Buffy and Sassy had a grand time sniffing all the outdoor, woodsy smells.  I think they envisioned themselves as coyote pack leaders!  :0)

Remembering my sweet angels as you left such a hole in our hearts that is still filled with pain we know you are now free and healthy once again as god has taken you to his very special place where all are free of pain a special place we know as rainbow bridge. We remember you in our hearts as this candle which is lit in your memory know that you will be always in our hearts.

When you can't travel with your pugs ...

When traveling and can't take our babies with us we used to have a friend stay with them at the house. She let us know that they spend most of their time by the front door waiting for mama to come home. That broke my heart. Velma even tries to escape to "look for mama." One time it was many hours before she was found -- so so scary. Now we leave the girls at a friends house who has a doggie daycare. They do okay there but really keep to themselves/huddle together in a corner. I'm so conflicted.…See More
