Comment by Di's spoiled kids on December 5, 2012 at 10:51am Elena how wonderful to have Petunia with you all this time, mine only made it to 10 and 13, wish I could have had them both longer
Comment by Elena on December 4, 2012 at 4:29pm My family had a Pekingese who lived to be 18, but I am confident Petunia will live longer than that. She can still see, hear, walk, run, and has all her teeth.
Oh, Elena, what an incredible blessing you have in Petunia! <3 My personal pugs have gone as old as 14, but a friend's was 16 and another claims hers was 21! Sometimes that Rainbow Bridge is too tempting to say no. I am so happy for you; Elena and Petunia grew up together! :0)
Comment by Elena on December 3, 2012 at 7:09pm My little Petunia celebrated her 17th birthday last week. I took her to Salem and all the shop keepers gave her free treats. I feel so blessed to still have the dog I have raised since I was 6 years old.
Sassy Sue, who is 11, seems to be perkier since Buffy's passing. I wonder if she took on Buffy's age, but now that she's gone, she is acting like 4 year old Daisy Doo? I'm just tickled she is so fit at 11. :0)
Comment by Di's spoiled kids on November 30, 2012 at 2:02pm Julie I know the feeling, just today I put on my Christmas sweetshirt, and it has three pugs on it. It made me sad to think another Christmas without Lily and Lulu, but as you said they are and will always be in our hearts
