Hi all, I just came upon this group, and I have been on here since January, wonder why I never noticed it before, Any way I love my puggies, and have since my first pug back in the 70's. Her name was Molly Bea, and she was a real sweetheart. If you do not know me, I have two pugs today, Lily (12 the end of this month) and Linus (1 on Sunday). And I just love this web site.

Sorry, Labradors are easier to train but need a whole lot more exercise than your Pug, so if you want dog to take you out this is the dog.

Personally I would get another Pug as I think that both the other breeds would overwhelm your baby as they get bigger. I know that my Hektor has many friends among the bigger dogs in our park, but whilst he used play with many of them he is beginning to avoid the bigger puppies as they play too rough now for him. I love both of your chosen breeds but many Boxers I meet are very hyperactive especially when young and they do seem to be a bit difficult to train, so no change there then with the Pug except the size. Hi... I have a 15month old baby... and I'm thinking about getting another dog... I'm deciding about a Boxer or Lab... Can anyone give some advice on that? Or should I get another Pug... but, I can only carry one for long walks... or cart rides...
