Precious Memories

Sitting here remembering all these sweet, wonderful memories we all have shared over the years,so many we all still cherish in our hearts. As there is yet another memory,a very precious memory that of a pug named Darla"who has crossed that bridge to join her family there, those sweet but, loving pugs who have given us so many memories to treasure. As we all have had our loses and as we mourn those who have crossed that bridge,we can be grateful for those memories which i know we keep very much near and dear to our hearts as i keep mine.I can sit here and remember the day Abby,Noah,Sheba and Darla came into my life and as they left my sight but,the one thing that never leaves is those special memories that we all treasure, whether it be a look,a fit in progress,or a funny moment as each moment is and will always remain that memory. Each of us has shared so many wonderful memories over the years as each step has been recorded like a childs first step, from puppyhood to golden years each precious step that stepped into our hearts.I have found going back and reading many of the stories and yes a bit sad,i also enjoyed a chuckle as many of these recorded memories are just too funny those bathtime moments with all the primping such as wrinkles, ears, the works and the nail salon days which for most were quite exciting.I can say the ones i remember the most are the ones going outside in the rain or snow that was a quite a deal,or the ole"rippin the stuffins'out of that stuffy which for some were done in quite a manner,or an all time favorite "who left the present for mommy"lol, and when looking at those faces couldn't help but, chuckle. The one memory that i think we all share is that one of "you'll do what i say"or 'i'm waiting"the one where we were kept in line which sometimes you would be on that timeout,as we all have had that one precious memory that we can all recall and chuckle. With so many who have left our sight, who have crossed that bridge they all have left those precious memories that will be forever in our hearts.

"If you have a new baby, I don't think a puppy would be a good choice.  Both take a lot of time.  Perhaps adopt an older pug?"
