As i have promised a little story of Noah a pug with disabilities who came into my life and touched my heart. The first time i seen noah was a picture on a page a picture that captured my heart and as i read more on that page only to learn he was blind and deaf,my heart said he was the one as i sat and looked into those eyes even then those precious eyes said so much. That day came when i got to bring him home and as i hugged him and looked into those eyes that warmed my heart i saw so much love,a warm and gentle love.As though he was blind which most would say 'oh he's blind what could you see' never believe because their blind or deaf that they can't feel noah told of a life where he was loved in a very special way. When taking in a pug such as noah and sheba those with these disabilities you learn by looking into those eyes which everyone here knows just looking into that face, that precious face that touched us all especially me in a way i've never been touched before such devotion and such a very loving heart he was and will be forever my gentle giant'.To be able to feel this way is such a wonderful feeling to have been taught by someone who couldn't see with those eyes but said so much by looking into them noah as was sheba very precious gifts to me and yes if i had to the chance to do it over;yes i would.Noah was loved in that very special way;that same way he loved you a true devotional love;a love that not only touched your heart but, your soul.I can sit here and remember a saying 'the eyes are a mirrior to the soul'well i truly believe this now as it took a very special pug;a very true companion to open my eyes and see all of what those eyes can say. This has been hard for me to write as these tears are streaming down but,i'm very lucky to have had my life touched by such a sweet soul i only hope you will all take that moment and look into those eyes those eyes which touch your heart as most of you with seniors already know we are so very lucky to have been given such a gift. Those that are blind have a different way to love a unique way,a way that touches not just our hearts but,our souls as noah and sheba has touched mine.I will forever miss them dearly but,i will always carry that love they gave me very deep within my heart and my eyes.In Memory of My Noah.

Thank you for sharing this Julie.Although i have lost dogs before, never a pug yet.I cant even imagine that day loosing one let alone two so close together.Bless yor heart for loving them like you did. They are all beautifull in my eyes with a dissability or not, they forever will be what god intended the loves of my life.

For most who got to be a part of my gentle giants life know Noah was a noble pug who touched all our lives in a special way.I'm sitting here remembering such a royal walk as he came into a room and the way he would walk to me hit me with that royal paw to make his demands of the day.He would have to have his meals served to him at that right time no later as this would result in a lecture and a slap of that paw, even his majesty at bath time would liked to be soaped up well and throughly rinsed and of course having a nice warm towel wrapped around him then blow dryed as mom would fluff his fur.As for being blind you would never have known as this gentle giant giant made his way through the house with no issue many were amazed by him he knew where his water dish was,his food dish as mom always made sure they stayed in the same place,as he even knew where the pantry was as he would walk over to it and sometimes head butt it with his nogging lol.Noah was quite a treasure one that i cherished ever so much as all you had to do was lookin his eyes as there you would see all,it was truly magical.I have so many fond memories of my cherished treasures ones that i will have forever in my heart,i was sent this gifts from god for a special reason and for a time i didn't understand why but,now i understand. As with all seniors some come a little different than others some frail, some blind, deaf, but, one thing they all share is is those forever loving eyes.Mommy Loves You My Gentle Giant!
