We have Sammie, Carrie, Jake, Henry, Ginger and Pippi. Some I named , cause I feel dogs " tell me" their names when I meet them. Others my kids or hubby named

I named my pug Ziggy. When I first got him it took me about 10 minutes to come up with the name Ziggy.

pork chop was our first and he'll always be missed we found him and the day we got him home we had ate boneless pork chops.he was so hungry so i gave him the left overs.it was gone in a flash so we named him pork chop now we have roscoethe name came with him and he owned it he is a ROSCOE.we have just recently added bella the only puppy pug we have trained for our selves from 10 weeks and she is so sweet and dainty she is our isabella.we are looking for a black female pug to add to our clan we would like her to be 2 or 3 years old

We called our first Pug Pug Henry, it got shortened to Henry, this was followed by Angus who was named for our breeders grandson. When we got the latest addition, we spent ages looking for an appropriate name. This was before we had even seen him. He was going to be Mac, then Deefer (not) then Beau, until one day my Husband suggested Hektor. It just seemed to be right somehow, and when he came home and his little tendency to go for the ankles seem we had hit pay dirt. We were tempted to use his pedigree name of Butch ( he is Butch Cassidy) but my breeder was not keen so Mr Blue ( his litter name) became Hektor.

My pugs are PEACHES and HANNAH and I'm fostering BOOZER. (would not pick that name).

Puddleglum is his official AKC name (look up "The Silver Chair" from the Chronicles of Narnia). We call him Glummy, Puddle, Puddy, and Puggly-Winks when we're in a silly mood.
