Same thing happened to our pug! Around 6-8 months, he didnt eat his food like he used to. I brought him to the vet and he said it was absolutely fine and that he just had a change in appetite and/or didn't like his food. Simon is 1 year and 3 months now and we feed him once around 5pm. He wolfs down his food, but some days it takes him some time to eat (he won't finish until about 8pm). We changed Simon's food a few times bc he obviously didn't like it as much anymore. Now, we feed him Wellness Small breed (1.5 cups) and a few scoops of Wellness 95% chicken or turkey. He is an active pug, as we walk him about 2miles a day. He has a very sensitive stomach and this food has been the best for him thus far. It is a little pricey, but he loves it and it has great reviews. Plus, you could call the company (once a month) and receive a $5 off coupon for the food! Remember when you change foods, to add just a little of the new food each week so it isnt such a shock to the system. Hope this is helpful!
Hi! My pug puppy is eating Blue Buffalo Chicken and Rice and she really likes it. Sometimes, when she doesn't seem too interested in eating, I add a little warm water to the dry food and she goes nuts over it. She wipes the bowl clean.
I had the same issue when Ziggy (my pug) turned a 1yr 1/2 old. It’s completely normal to be concerned, especially if you are used to seeing your pug chow-down food like mine. After doing intense research, it's their metabolism that changes and begins to slow down a bit, meaning they are less hungry throughout the day. At times, Ziggy would go 2-days without eating, leading me to think he didn’t like his food anymore. I literally went psycho buying him different types of foods that didn't solve my problem and just made me spend lots of money.

I have always fed Ziggy Evo Chicken Bites and has been excellent for him! I strongly recommend for you to visit the dog food analysis web page to help you determine what food would be proper for your puggie. www.dogfoodanalysis.com

Good luck!
