Hektor and I live in Scotland and though it is cold, it probably being a maritime climate never gets as cold as it gets in a continental climate. We had some snow this week, he never turned a hair. I think that Pugs often prefer the cold to too much heat. He is not much pleased with the rain. He would rather be a furry pug than a dressed one. He has had one sweater in his life, and that was on for the ten seconds it took to take the picture, so I cannot give you clothing tips.

We also live in Pa and our pug loves it, now. He was born in the summer and I was worried how he would react to the cold and snow. When it first snowed we took him outside and he was kind of weird about it, like not wanting to put his paws in the snow or he would sit in the corner of his potty pen and just shiver. But we've been putting his sweatshirt or his vest on and he seems to be doing fine now. He actually started running through the snow and likes the snow to kick back up on his legs. and he will stick his face into the snow and when he picks his head up snow will be ALL over his little face. Its so cute. So if Ziggy at first acts a little weird to the snow put a sweatshirt or something on him, and when you take him outside, for the first few times anyway, keep the time short and ease in to adapting him to the cold!

We live in the northeast. i have 2 8yr. old pugs...they love the show, when it's fluffy and pretty. When it's icy that is when it's tough. I have polartec coats for them. wind/rain resistant on the outside and polartec on the inside. i got them on line. We don't use socks/shoes. i don't walk them very far in the extreme cold, they mostly stay in the back yard. we snow blow a path for them
