Well, our little girl turned 14 this year. She's always dealt with bladder infections so I had a hunch that over time, she would develop a weak bladder. The vet put her on PPA but she could not tolerate it. It gave her lethargy and seizure type symptoms. Bought washable diapers but honestly, they're a pain in the butt. Has anyone out there in pug community reached this point and what has been the best course of action for you and your pugly one?

I've had two with bladder issues it was due to age but,i got them diapers online or you can go to etsy as i know a few girls who make things as i got things from them,i know it's hard and those issues come up and we feel helpless but,you can always check online for more help as well.I've had a few pugs who came to me in such bad shape but,it all turned around and they lived to be 14-19 years, please know i'm thinking of you, maybe you can search out a holistic vet as i've gone that way over the years i swear by them.

Yeah, I didn't like what I saw with the side effects of Proin. It made the situation worse. I have her in washable diapers and now that I have experience with putting them on, they're staying on better. They still slip off during the night but we're making progress. I think she's getting use to them. Thank you for investing the time to offer your advice. I really appreciate it!
