Social network for pugs and their people.
Couch is a natural habitat for pugs. Trying to keep your pug away from the furniture, is like trying to keep monkey on the ground level. It's just the way it is with pugs and it is a good thing.
The only way to keep them off the furniture is not to let them on it the first time. I am not the one to tell you as mine has the run of the sofas, but he has never been on my bed. Do not get me wrong, no real issues except I do not want him to fall off and get hurt. So the first time I found him on it, I told him to get off, I had one other occasion when he was on the bed and I told him to get off. He has never been back unless I have taken him there. So tell her not to or at least she should need an invitation. Hektor waits until he is told he can get up.
As i see it a home is not a home without pugs everywhere as most of us here see it they are like our children and they have the run of their home as mine do they are a part of the family and most of our family here at pugslife have said "if you don't like the hair or our pugs crawling on you then you don't need to be at my home"which i say this to people all the time i'd rather have a pug on my furniture then most people.
