As i'm always one for finding something new to make for my pups as i do not trust products anymore which i know many agree so now i'm making my own doggy toothpaste. It's a simple thing to make as most of us have these ingredients in our homes,it's just baking soda, parley which you can use dry or fresh, coconut oil.                                                                            Recipe                                                                    2 1/2 Tblsp. coconut oil                                                    1 Tsp.baking soda                                                          1 Tsp.parsley[if using dried]                                              A pinch of mint extract or you can crush up mint leaf                                                                                           There are a few types on Pinterest if you'd like to go over them.                                                                                   You can also type them in your search bar and go from there,it's just seeing what your pup will like, have to say with Bear i have to go right along or he'll try to eat the toothbrush.

Great if you can get into their mouths to use it. I have had to rely on dental chews for his lordship, his problem is tarter, which he has had to have cleaned off, at least with those ingredients will work a treat, should work on humans too.

"If you have a new baby, I don't think a puppy would be a good choice.  Both take a lot of time.  Perhaps adopt an older pug?"
