My vet showed me how to empty my babies glands, but this new little guy is a big cry baby, and he screams everytime I try to empty him. He is forever marking something with his stink. I have not had a male before, does anyone know do they have more of a gland problem than a female does. My girls were/ are easy to empty, but this guy he is a pain. Any words of advise out there

Diane, for me there is no difference between Malia and the boys as far as that goes, I do it about every six months, or sooner, if they start giving indications of need. He will get "used to it" why does that just not sound quite right. I don't think I would ever get used to it, in fact I think I would heard screaming FOWL for at least a block!! hahahha
He is just a big baby about all kinds of things. I hate to have to take him to the vet just for this, but if it gets to the point where I cannot get it done, I guess I will have to. It really never bothered Lily, Lulu wasn't happy with it, but she would let me do it, but this guy sees the finger coming, and he is gone. LOL
