Social network for pugs and their people.
Not something I recognise JT, could it be a fungal problem. What was the cream that your Vet gave you, for? Could it be an insect problem. I am at a loss.
Scratches, mine have all scratched their eyes at one time or another. The other cause can be conjunctivitis which is quite common. If the gloop from their eyes goes green then straight to the Vet, it needs an antibiotic to clear up.
My Hektor is I suppose a very well bred Pug, he has 40 champions on his pedigree and until he contracted allergies and yeast problems he had nothing wrong with his eyes, now he has. So do not think this will protect you from everything. Pugs have problems, you just have to learn how to deal with them. Dry eye is another problem but can be kept with the use of artificial tears. I hope this helps.
