Just wanted to know if tea (as in a cup of tea) is harmful to dogs?

Also is there anything I could put in Mileys water that they are allowed/like? I just think, does she get board of drinking the same thing all the time?

Tea isnt harmful to dogs, not sure if they get bored of water, Guinness doesnt seem to mind. I know they really like bitter flavors which is bizarre.
Caffeine in tea is harmful. My husband thinks the girls get bored with their food and water....they don't. I do let the girls swig my drinks but as far as giving them something else to drink not necessary.

i put a little puppy milk/dog milk in with my pugs dry food just so its like cereal...but apart from that, she just has water...

we have made her a de-caf coffee with puppy milk once (a very small amount) as she was always trying to drink ours...she LOVES coffee...but we have only given her it the once. a little puppy milk and water is all my girl gets.

thanks, i may try her with a bit of that.
I don't see why they would get bored of water? They don't need flavoured water, tea, milk or anything like that. Just water. No point giving them anything other than water. Maybe a tiny little bit of tea, i know mine have licked some up off the floor outside when i have been sat out there and threw away the last bit of my tea or something, its not something i would make for them and give to them purposely.
Tend to agree with you Sophie, mine hardly drinks water these days as he get most of his from the Veggies he is having with his meat. He has never been bored with it though and many do not like milk after they are weaned.
As others have mentioned, I would be concerned about caffeine.  I believe this is the primary reason why dogs can't eat chocolate so I don't see how tea or coffee would be any different.
Chocolate is a different chemical issue but caffeine does more than cause a hyper pug. It causes system damage. Chocolate is more deadly in darker candy but all is bad.

"Update my boy milo still has them and is 10 soon. Raw diet calms the severity and frequency but he had one just now. He spaced out, got dizzy and flopped over onto his side. Went rigid for ten seconds and back to normal"
