Social network for pugs and their people.
I need some advice. Bebe Magoo had promised me one of her litter and I wasn't sure I wanted to go through the adventure of bringing a dog across the border. Its hard enough getting my laptop onto a plane. :) But she convinced me to take the plunge and see where this little adventure takes me.
So does anyone have any suggestions/recommendations on bringing a dog back to Canada? What airline is best to use, its gotta be carry on I pray. I don't think I could handle it if she had to go some other way. Also what papers the breeder needs to supply, etc. I will research it all myself so I'm not being lazy, just thought I could pull on the vast experience and wisdom of Pugslife.
Thanks for all your help,
Konrad

Permalink Reply by Konrad Jaschke on April 25, 2012 at 4:56pm I was just reading reviews on this website from travellers using Westjet and bringing their pets. Looks like its a very pet friendly airline. I don't think I can use points for them, but I'll take them anyways.
Permalink Reply by Pug Lovin Candy on April 26, 2012 at 12:47pm I have heard recently that airlines are banning dogs like pugs and bulldogs. Due to their breathing issues. You may need to look into that if you intend to fly.
Pugchick just flew with one of pugmans pups. Not to Canada though.Im sure she could give some great info on flying with a pug!
