A little worried tonight. Do pugs have anxiety attacks? Jiggs had some kind of fit for lack of better way to describe it tonight. He flatened himself to the floor all four legs spread and nails digging into the rug. He was shaking like he was freezing eyes more buggy the normal. I layed down beside him trying to make him feel better. He calmed down a little then started crawling away from me. The other 2 dogs tried to get on top of him. As I was putting the 2 in there kennels Jiggs got in his crawled under his blanket and was back to normal. It was like he felt safe once in his bed. Dont know what startled him but once in his kennel he was fine. Any ideas? Thanks.
Lori, I don't know how old your pug is, but it might be epilepsy. I would get him to the vet as soon as possible to rule that out. Hope he is ok.
I guess I better stop putting that off. Our old vet retired so I think the closest one now is about 30 miles away. Its almost shot time anyway. Thanks
Ooo might be some kind of seizure. There certainly is good treatment available.
sounds like a seizure to me as well have there been any more episodes?
