Hair loss on lips
My pug Daphne has lost the hair under snout directly above her mouth along the middle. Anyone have an idea what it could be? It started 2 days ago.

Is it oinly Daphne's loss? Was she bitten maybe? Or just rubbing her face to something too much? Is the skin there dark? Or irritated?
May be a sign of mange.

It turns out just to be something she got into. A bit of baby wash and some benadryl and her hair is coming right back.

hmm my pug (you can see her photos always had less hair right in that spot from just wear and tear LOL she licked her lips so much from eating. --- was not noticeable until she went grey they you can see fewer grey hair right there, probably noticeable on your pug because of the light coat and the darker lip. check out other pugs you will see their whiskers are much thinner there and especially if they are grey you will see less grey right there! just means they are extra happy with their food (good job);)

Oh how cute is she! Reminds me of the day i chose Milo. He was like that! Same sort of build, just as hyper! But i didnt get him for another 6 weeks so he was less crazy when i got him :( Lovely little Pug you have!
